Its all about the inline six, six cylinders pushing into a single exhaust manifold makes quick work of spooling up HUGE turbos. We have the sensable V6 where all we get is the ability to spool up a turbo with just 3 cylinders. Therefore we are stuck using smaller turbos. There is always the possibility that you could use a pair of very large turbos, except for the unbelievable amount of lag, you could still pull out the max HP numbers that supras do. ***All the older Z cars had the inline 6, why they changed that when they introduced the 300z still escapes me***
